Jonny Davies, conductor, singer, violinist, organist
Musical director for RAU Summer Workshop 2026

Jonny Davies is a charismatic and brilliant young director who moved from London to Bristol in 2023 where he works as a conductor, vocal coach/accompanist, singer, violinist and organist. Jonny was appointed as director of Standish Consort in June 2025.
Previously Jonny was conductor of Sine Nomine Singers in southeast London and performed regularly at many of London’s cathedrals. He was Organist and Director of Music of St. Olave’s Church, Hart Street and St. Katharine Cree in the City of London for 6 years.
Jonny is a founder and director of the Solidago Singers, a group of amateur singers who meet for masterclasses once a month and perform once or twice a year. He is head of keyboard studies at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Bristol.
Jonny toured with choirs to Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland and Latvia. He was the Queen’s Chorister then Head Chorister at St George’s Windsor. Jonny is a graduate of Brasenose College Oxford and Trinity Laban Conservatoire (MMusic).
