Summer Weekend at RAU Royal Agricultural University outside Cirencester

RAU: Our 2026 summer residential event will place at the Royal Agricultural University (RAU). A mix of buildings old and new are surrounded by peaceful sports fields and farmland, across the road from wooded parkland on the outskirts of Cirencester.

Music July 2026: Jonny Davies introduces us to a selection of pieces new to many of us, on the theme “European choral music through the ages” from works by Tallis, Bach, Brahms, Poulenc, Stravinsky, Howells and Carter. All music will be loaned to you on arrival.

Meals: At both Winter and Summer venues all meals are included, and all dietary requirements are catered for.

Performance: We round off the weekends by giving an informal performance of the pieces we have learnt.  There is plenty of time to chat, have a drink at the bar, do some informal singing, and prepare for our home-grown “cabaret” on Saturday evening, where anything goes.
